Are You Serious - Andrew Bird

My first post will be about Andrew Bird's tenth solo album Are You Serious. I found his music on youtube, and watched his NPR Tiny Desk performance. I was drawn in by the acoustic band, and his expert whistling. This album is a great example of baroque pop and american folk music. His violin adds emotion to his pieces and it's really interesting how he incorporated it. I would say my favorite track was Roma Fade. He starts off the song with beautiful  whistling and pizzicato on his violin. This album is unlike anything I've heard before and I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a change of genre.
